Nordic Walking can be so beneficial to everyone’s health, fitness and well-being. It’s a fantastic way to stay fit and you get the double health benefits of exercise and sunlight – outdoor exercise is good for the mind as well as the body Amongst its attributes are its simplicity and sociability, and it’s suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Having been involved in the fitness world for over 20 years as a movement and dance teacher, I have found Nordic Walking to be the most enjoyable, sociable and effective way of keeping fit in the fresh air.

If you would like to try Nordic Walking I will be holding more free taster sessions soon in Richmond, North Yorkshire and a four week training programme will then follow. We meet outside The Station, Richmond so please contact me to book a place. There’s no need to buy anything special to have a try *- just come along in loose, comfortable clothing and trainers and I’ll supply the poles. The session will last around an hour.

All the people who have been Nordic walking with me agree that it's fun and exercising outdoors is really energising. We all feel fantastic afterwards. I lead two group walks each week, one on a Tuesday morning at 10:00 am and one on Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm .
