Jason Feavers / Nordic Walking Instructor, York

About

Whether you are looking to improve health, increase fitness levels or just want to learn a new activity, there's a Nordic Walking class for you. Please check out the Classes page for details of different Nordic Walking classes and to see which is most suitable for you.

You may have low fitness levels or medical conditions that might make it harder to get started with an exercise programme.  Nordic Wellbeing is the ideal way to improve cardiovascular health with the additional benfefits of maintaining muscle strength, keeping bones healthy and preventing injury.

Learn full Nordic Walking technique thorugh our regular technique courses. Join us on our 'Adventure Walks' which are social, fun walks from various locations, normally finishing at a pub or tea room.

Nordic Walking is also a great form of cross training for runners. The Wednesday evening class is aimed mainly at increasing fitness levels and includes various drills to improve leg strength and muscle balance as well as aerobic fitness.

I've being teaching Nordic Walking classes in York since 2007. I am also a tutor for Nordic Walking UK, teaching new instructors and I also teach Exercise Referral training courses. I have been an Exercise Referral instructor since 2002 and have additional specialist qualifications for working with clients with heart disease and low back pain.
