As a keen sportswoman I have always loved being outdoors enjoying cross country running, cycling and walking. After a friend mentioned Nordic Walking I gave it a go and immediately took to it. I realised how much it has to offer to a wide spectrum of people.

I have taught exercise and fitness classes for over 20 years to a wide range of people of varying ages, physical abilities and needs. As a professionally qualified Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist I have a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology of the body and the effects of exercise on it.

THE CLASSES
I regularly run 4 weeks "Learn to Nordic Walk" courses at Whitlingham Broad, Norwich on Sunday and Thursday mornings. On finishing the course you will then be able to join my workout and adventure Nordic Walking groups held at the same location as well as joining in the monthly walks at various beautiful and scenic locations near to Norwich .

My walking sessions are ideal if you want to:

have a total body workout at your own pace
get aerobically fitter while building muscular endurance
exercise in a sociable way
lose a few pounds
have fun in the fresh air
improve the quality of your life
feel better about yourself
make new friends

Whether you want a sociable group walk or a tailored one to one session call me to discuss what you want to achieve and the best way forward to make these attainable.

In addition I run NORDIC CIRCUIT CLASSES on Thursdays late afternoon/early evening at Whitlingham Broad once the clocks move to summer time. These are ideal for conditioning people who are training for treks, expeditions and walking holidays. They are ideal for those who like a variety of different exercises in one class while having a lot of fun. There is no need to be a competent Nordic walker to take part, as they are open to all.
