For commitment to a fitness routine, it helps to sign up in advance. The best way to keep fit is to exercise regularly. To maintain cardiovascular fitness, it is recommended to exercise 3-5 times a week with a maximun heart rate of 55-90% between 20-60 minutes. Nordic Walking fits this perfectly, as it is continuous rhythmic activity, and uses the large muscle groups.
